Au programme de l’ICM 2018, le congrès international de mathématiques qui se tient à Rio de Janeiro cette année, les mathématiques françaises seront particulièrement présentes, notamment en conférence plénière, avec 3 éminentes mathématiciennes : Sylvia Serfaty (NYU / LJLL), Systems of Points with Coulomb Interactions ; Catherine Goldstein (IMJ-PRG), Long-term History and Ephemeral Configurations ; Nalini Anantharaman (IRMA), Delocalization of Schrödinger Eigenfunctions ; mais aussi Vincent Lafforgue (IHES), Global Langlands Parameterization and Shtukas for Reductive Groups.
